Pixtropolis Collab!

Posted by Expectrum - January 19th, 2009

It's out, go watch it.

Pixtropolis City

It was great to, once again, work with mexifry and the gang. We're planning to make a sequel to Pixelmas Shorts called ''Pixelween'' or something like that. It's obviously going to be released on Halloween, so there's plenty of time before it happens. I plan to do a solo project before that, not necessarily with pixels, but not necessarily without. Once I come up with an idea I'll see...

I've also been pretty slow in music production, but that might have to wait for even further. I have a latin american piano contest coming up on April, so I need to prepare myself for that. There's also the regular studies and shit... God help me.

Any comments on the collab/my part? I feel that I've done some progress, at least. I'm confident enough to make a full solo project now, and I'm going to put even more effort in.

Nice job on getting an award. Wish I joined it. :(

hay whats up, havent talked in a while... good to see you still on the forums @;-}>

Indeed =D

I was a bit inactive due to some compromises, but I never leave. How are you doing? I see you're still as active as ever on the Wi/Ht? :)

I miss ya :(

...lol?

It is you that has gotten lost =D

i think you guys need to try something that isnt pixel animation.

its almost too easy

We never did it (or at least I didn't do it) for the difficulty value. It was just a fun concept and doing it was even more entertaining. And you can't say pixel animation, or any type of animation, is ''too easy'', because it is up to the animator how complex he/she wants to take it. If someone were to draw a scene pixel-by-pixel it would be more difficult and time consuming than drawing it normally.
